THE MUSHROOM RIVER BAND Confirmed For Sweden's 2000 DECIBEL FESTIVAL
April 5, 2002Sweden's THE MUSHROOM RIVER BAND, featuring former SPIRITUAL BEGGARS bassist/vocalist Christian “Spice” Sjöstrand, have been tapped to replace Spice's previous group, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, as one of the headliners of this year's 2000 Decibel festival, which is scheduled to be held on May 18th in Bengtsfors, Sweden (180 km north of Gothenburg). As an added bonus, HAMMERFALL bassis Magnus Rosén will open the festival with a truncated version of the bass show that he recently toured South America with.
SPIRITUAL BEGGARS pulled out of the festival due to guitarist Michael Amott's US touring commitments with ARCH ENEMY in May.
